The shortlist
Luxury hotels in Dubai, shortlisted to your brief
A star rating alone will not decide your shortlist, your brief will. Dubai has many five-star hotels, so we match each one to your brief by looking at location, transfer time, neighbourhood and the room itself.
You receive a simple explanation of the room type, meal plan and booking conditions so that you can understand what is included in the price. Some extras may be a breakfast credit, dining or spa credit, welcome amenity, or an early check-in and/or late check-out.
Where to stay
Which Dubai area suits you?
Palm Jumeirah
Featuring a holiday feel, resort style stays on the crescent island. Access to beaches. Family and couple friendly.
Downtown Dubai
Close to Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall. Suits business travellers and short city stays.
Dubai Marina and JBR
Waterfront dining, the beach walk and a good supply of serviced apartments. Suits families and long stays.
Jumeirah beachfront
Beachfront hotels located at prime locations along the coast. Perfect for couples and families wishing to stay at a beachfront resort in Dubai.
Bluewaters
The island district just off JBR, a calmer base within reach of the beachfront. Suits couples and short family breaks.
How we choose
How BFG Travel finds the most luxurious hotel in Dubai for you
The request we hear most often is, "What is the most luxurious hotel in Dubai?" There are many ways to answer that, and ranking hotels is not what we do. Instead, we judge luxury the same way every time:
Service ratio
How many staff there are for each guest, and whether a butler or dedicated host is part of the stay.
Location
Beachfront, skyline or desert setting, and the transfer time to where you need to be.
Suite size
Living space, separate bedrooms, terraces and views.
Privacy
Private entrances, quiet floors and secluded areas.
Dining
The range and quality of restaurants, and flexibility on meal plans.
Spa
Facilities, treatments and opening hours.
Beach access
Direct sand, a beach club, or a pool-led stay.
Well-known landmark hotels at the top of the Dubai market include Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Atlantis The Royal and Armani Hotel Dubai. We name them only as examples. Naming a property does not mean we hold an exclusive rate agreement or exclusive distribution with it.
Once we know what is most important to you, we are able to make a short list of appropriate options and outline the compromises for each. A couple celebrating an anniversary may want to stay at a different hotel than a family wanting a suite.
Private water
Hotels with private pool in Dubai and the UAE
Searches for hotels with private pool in Dubai usually mean one of three things:
Private plunge-pool suites
A small private plunge pool located in the suite, often found on a terrace or balcony.
Pool villas
A standalone villa within a resort, with its own pool and outdoor space.
Terrace pools
A pool on a private terrace or roof, usually in a higher-floor suite.
Size, heating, privacy, and room placement vary by property. One property may have a fully private pool while another property may have a pool that is overlooked by an adjacent property. BFG travel find out what matters the most to you and check the details with the property.
Space to live
Luxury hotel apartments in Dubai
Luxury hotel apartments in Dubai offer a blend of hotel services and spaciousness. Features such as a separate living area, and kitchen or kitchenette are included, along with multiple bedrooms. As a serviced apartment, housekeeping and reception services are included, like a hotel.
An apartment often suits better than a hotel room when:
- You are staying a week or longer.
- You are travelling as a family and want separate sleeping and living space.
- You want to prepare some meals or keep a child's routine.
- Two couples or a small group are sharing.
- A business stay needs room to work.
A hotel room or suite suits better when you want daily dining, a spa and resort facilities on site. Many luxury hotel apartments in Dubai sit in Downtown, Dubai Marina and JBR. Facilities differ between buildings, so we confirm what is included before you decide.
Want a whole villa with its own garden or pool instead? See our Villas & Stays page.
After booking
What you get from BFG Travel after booking luxury hotels in Dubai
When we shortlist luxury hotels in Dubai, the value usually comes from four places.
Rates
BFG travel compare the rates available to the desk and show them with the room type and meal plan. We do not claim the lowest price.
Amenities
BFG Travel can request breakfast, a dining or spa credit, a welcome amenity, and early check-in or late check-out from the hotel. We confirm with you which ones are agreed before you book.
Room placement
A suite upgrade, a higher floor, a sea view or a quieter wing can be requested with the property. Placement is a request; allocation is not a guarantee.
Groups / multiple rooms
For weddings, corporate groups or families taking several rooms, BFG travel can request a room block so rooms are held together. Terms are set by each property.
Process
How booking works with BFG Travel
- 01
Tell us the city, dates and who is travelling
- 02
We shortlist with prices and inclusions
You see the options side by side, with the conditions explained.
- 03
We confirm and book
The BFG Travel desk confirms the information with you before anything is final.
This is an enquiry, not simulated live availability. For the full process, see How It Works.
One desk
Pair your stay with flights, packages and corporate travel
Most stays are part of a larger plan. We can pair your hotel with flights, build it into Dubai luxury packages, or coordinate it with corporate travel for business trips and group events. If you are linking Dubai with the most luxurious hotels in UAE cities such as Abu Dhabi, tell us and the same desk plans both legs.
Why BFG Travel
Why choose BFG Travel for luxury hotels in Dubai
Anyone can list five-star hotels in Dubai. The harder part is knowing which one fits your party, your dates and the way you like to travel. This is how BFG Travel works:
Based in Dubai
Our office is in Dubai, so we can advise on areas, transfer times and how Palm Jumeirah, Downtown, Dubai Marina and the Jumeirah beachfront differ in practice.
One contact from enquiry to check-out
The same person takes your brief, shortlists the options and stays with the booking, so you do not repeat yourself to a new agent.
A shortlist matched to your brief
You see a few suitable hotels side by side, with room type, meal plan and booking conditions explained, not a long list to work through yourself.
Clear on what is confirmed
Breakfast credits, early check-in, a higher floor or a private-pool room are requested with the property. We tell you which are confirmed and which are not.
Honest about price
We compare the rates available to the desk and explain what each includes. We do not promise the lowest price on every date.
More than a hotel room
Beachfront resorts, hotels with private pool in Dubai, luxury hotel apartments, private villas and room blocks for groups, with flights and Dubai luxury packages added if you want them.
If you only want to compare live nightly rates yourself, a booking site will be faster. If you want a person to shortlist luxury hotels in Dubai, explain the terms and stay with the trip, request a hotel quote.
